About EMPL
EMPL is a unique in-app currency used in the Yay! app. It can be used to send gifts, participating in events, and interacting with external services. This page explains the different types of EMPL, how to obtain it, how to use it, and its expiration details.
What is EMPL?
EMPL is an in-app currency that can be used for the following purposes:
• Participating in Pal Races
• Sending gifts to other users
• Receiving and exchanging gifts
• Leveling up Pals or using the gacha feature
• Interacting with external services (e.g., tokens)
※ Some features will be added gradually.
EMPL can be obtained through purchases, as rewards, or via campaign distributions.
Types and Characteristics of EMPL
There are currently three types of EMPL, each with different usage conditions, exchange availability, and expiration periods.

※ All types are shown as simply “EMPL” in the app, but are distinguished in the system by type, expiration, and exchange availability.
Priority Order of EMPL Usage
EMPL is automatically consumed in the following order:
Campaign → Purchase → Rewarded
※ Within the same type, EMPL with the earliest expiration date will be used first.
How to Check Your EMPL
・ iOS / Android
1. Tap the profile icon on the bottom right of the app
2. Tap the bag icon on the top right
3. Select the EMPL section you want to check
→ You can check a breakdown of your EMPL, number of each type, expiration dates, and usage history.
・Web
1. Click the profile icon on the top right
2. Click “EMPL”
How to Purchase EMPL
・ iOS / Android
1. Go to the EMPL screen and tap “Buy”
2. Choose an amount and complete payment
3. The corresponding amount of Purchased EMPL will be added (with possible bonuses)
・ Web
1. From the EMPL screen, click “Buy EMPL”
2. Choose the amount and preferred payment method
3. Follow the instructions and complete the transaction
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q. Can I use expired EMPL?
→ No. Expired EMPL is automatically invalidated and cannot be used or exchanged.
Q. Can I get a refund for EMPL?
→ Due to the nature of the product, EMPL cannot be refunded after purchase.
Q. I want to use only my Campaign EMPL first.
→ EMPL is automatically used in the order: Campaign → Purchase → Reward. You cannot select manually.
