In order to participate in Pal races, you must make a community contribution.
Community contribution is set by multiplying two factors, Trust Score and Activity Score, and is designed to measure usage time per day.
*The testing vesion is designed to allow all kinds of activity, but at launch, spamming and any malicious activity towards the app will be excluded from measurement.
How to calculate Yay! usage time to achieve community contribution
The usage time of Yay! to achieve community contribution is determined by an algorithm that compares Trust Score and Activity Score and prioritizes use of the user with a higher score.
Therefore, even if you are a new user with a low Trust Score, you can easily contribute to the community by maintaining a high daily Activity Score.

How to calculate Trust Score
Trust Score is determined by the following factors:
- Yay! usage time
- Frequency of use of Yay!
- Exchange through posts and letters
- Number of active Circle managed
- Total amount of gifts sent
- Total amount of gifts received
- Other community contributions
The Trust Score reflects all your history and activities using Yay! from the time you created your Yay! account until now.
How to calculate Activity Score
Your Activity Score is determined by the following factors:
- Exchange through posts and letters
- Participating in a thread
- exchanging gifts
- Other community contributions
The Activity Score reflects the activity on the day before calculation.
Calculation time
Both Trust Score and Activity Score are calculated every day from midnight Japan time.
